ICAM was established in 2014 With a clear vision to Bring Standards in Ayurvedic science –Teaching—Practise and products To safe Guard interest of Public as well practitioners. The International Council of Ayurvedic Medicine was incorporated in 2014 to provide a voice for Ayurvedic Practitioners in Australia. ICAM’s mission is to formulate common standards for the practice of ayurvedic medicine in Australia and to create more awareness in the community about this ancient heath science.

- To formulate uniform common levels of practising categories among Ayurvedic practitioners in Australia.
- To bring harmony among all related with Ayurveda outside India.
- To formulate common standards for Ayurvedic herbs/products that are available in Australia and outside India.
- To create a facility for common research in Ayurvedic medicine.
- To organize more international seminars for the promotion of Ayurvedic medicine outside of India.
