Professional Development
How It Works
ICAM is committed to ongoing education and training for all members to ensure the Australian community has access to a highly skilled workforce. CPD or continued professional development is a well-structured program that provides further educational opportunities for practitioners of Ayurveda to ensure they maintain and/or increase their knowledge, skills, expertise, and competence throughout their professional life.
Being a professional implies a commitment to updating and furthering one’s education. CPD allows ICAM members to solidify and live the philosophy of the ICAM vision “To protect, promote & preserve authentic Ayurveda in Australia”. To help this vision ICAM works and has a designated highly skilled team focused on professional education suited for those who are either newly graduated in Ayurveda or a long-term experienced practitioner.
